Precision Ag and GIS Specialist

Joe is a Precision Ag and GIS Specialist for Heartland Co-op.  His current focus is Helping Farmers Produce and Market Profitably by instructing them and their Agronomists with soil sample data and Variable Rate Recommendations for crop nutrients and seeding. In addition, Joe helps out on his family farm where they raise cattle, corn, soybeans, alfalfa, and have been no-till farming since the 1980s. They recently have been trying cover crops (rye) for their cows to graze in the fall and early spring.
